Due to increased demand for the coming school year we are looking to take on 5 new teachers to deal with rising student numbers. C2 English School has been in business for 15 years. We started small in the South of Italy and grew our brand there over the years under the name C2 Language. Our little school became very successful and we grew to about 300 students every month. In Ireland we have been operating as a Summer school for many years, where we incorporated in 2018.

This position is 100% online on an hourly basis. Our students come from a variety of backgrounds. Many are adults who wish to improve their conversational English. We have many requests for IELTS preparation, as well as general Cambridge main suite preparation.

The hours that we want to cover are mostly evenings (GMT 14.00 - 20.00), as well as saturday mornings (GMT 09.00 to 14.00) Individual classes are mostly in the mornings (groups on Saturdays), with a mix of group and individual lessons in the later afternoon.

You will work in collaboration with at least one other teacher who may provide ad hoc lessons on pronunciation, listening and phonetics. The timely compilation of our online register and notes on difficulties faced by individual learners or points to work on help us to provide a targeted service to our students.

Qualifications:

• TEFL certificate

• We would like to work with Native Level English teachers or those with a C2 level.

• We like teachers who are proactive, can entertain their students, move swiftly on their computer and answer grammar questions effectively and accurately.

• It is very important to us to offer our students continuity, for this reason teachers must be in a position to follow courses through to completion at the end of the school year (June). Group courses typically last for the school year for 60/70 hours, twice a week. Other courses vary from one to three times a week from 10 to 50 hours.
